# Perfect RAG / Retrieval Buildprint

Start with `BUILDPRINT.md`. It is the canonical authority for this Mapper phase-flow packet.

This Buildprint implements a stack-adaptable RAG/Retrieval with corpus contracts, ingestion, chunking, hybrid retrieval, permission filtering, reranking, citation-grounded answers, refusal behavior, traces, and eval gates. It is not a vector database plus prompt template.

Runtime proof belongs in `.buildprint/evidence/evidence-ledger.jsonl` inside the implementation project, not in the packaged seed ledger.
